Donald went to Bali for the first time in 2005 where he met Ketut Sadia and learned of the educational needs of the Balinese children. In 2006, he became the North American Coordinator for The WINS Project and has served as the President of The WINS Project USA since its inception. Donald teaches art at Eagle Rock High School in Eagle Rock, California. He and his partner, Yong Lee, sponsor I Putu Arya Mahendra (Putu) and two brothers, I Komang Parta Wijaya (Komang) and I Made Arta (Made). Donald and Yong live in Los Angeles, California. |
Frances Blair

Frances was introduced to The WINS Project in 2006 on one of her many trips to Bali. She helped form The WINS Project USA and is a founding member of the Executive Board. As a retired business owner, she has the time to volunteer not only with The WINS Project but also with San Diego Hospice and Institute for Palliative Medicine and the Armed Forces YMCA at Balboa Naval Hospital. She is a member of the Rancho Bernardo Rotary. Frances’ primary contribution as a board member is in marketing our organization. She sponsors a young boy, I Made Joni Parwata (Kadek Joni). Bali and its people are a vital part of her life and she visits as often as possible. Frances and her husband, Earnie Giles, live in Rancho Bernardo, California. |

Earnie Giles

Earnie is a retired Marine officer and commercial pilot. He is also the Treasurer of a small non-profit historical group at Camp Pendleton, California. Earnie was instrumental in the establishment of The WINS Project USA in 2006 and has been a member of the Executive Board since its inception. He was introduced to Bali by his wife, Frances Blair. It was on this trip that they first learned of The WINS Project. He sponsors two children, Desak Ayu Putu Ratih (Desak Ayu) and I Komang Kariana (Komang). Earnie and Frances live in Rancho Bernardo, California. |
Yong Lee
Board Member
Yong owns Industry Design, a graphic design and web development business. He first went to Bali in 2005 where he learned of what would become The WINS Project. Yong has served as a member of the Executive Board member of The WINS Project USA since its inception in 2006 and is its resident webmaster and designer. He and his partner, Donald Pinegar, sponsor I Putu Arya Mahendra (Putu) in addition to two brothers, I Komang Parta Wijaya (Komang) and I Made Arta (Made). Yong and Donald live in Los Angeles, California. |

Eileen Burke

Eileen has been a member of the Executive Board since in 2008. She owns Queen Eileen's in Encinitas, California. She sells Balinese handicrafts at her store and travels to Bali several times a year on buying trips. Her daughter, Shannon, often accompanies Eileen to Bali. These trips give her the opportunity to visit the Bedulu center regularly. She sponsors I Kadek Merta Cedana (Dek Cing). Eileen, her husband, Pat, and Shannon live in Encinitas, California. |
