Where We Are
The orphanage is located in the district of Bedulu in Bali, Indonesia. It's close to Ubud, which is considered the arts and culture center of the island of Bali. Half, if not more, of the town seems to consist of artists' workshops and galleries. But if you walk a couple of blocks away from the hubbub of the central area, you'll run into beautiful rice paddies.

Not too far from Ubud are numerous cultural and religious monuments — some of which are Museum Puri Lukisan (Museum of Fine Arts), Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), Gunung Kawi (Poet Mountain) and Tirta Empul (Sacred Hot Springs). There are even l4th century rock carvings called Yeh Pulu, 5-minute walk from the orphanage.
